Casio will sell in March a photography camera that will shoot 60 frames per second in burst mode and in video mode, it will shoot up to 1200 frames per second. Of course, at 1200 frames per second, the resolution will be small, a measly 336 pixels by 96 pixels. None-the-less, that would give you some awesome slow motion effects, but the screen size would be tiny.

The camera will retail for $1000. What does this mean to new media creators, besides the coolness factor? If you have a sports shoot you have to cover, shooting 60 FPS at 6 megapixel resolution to capture that great soccer (or basketball) shot, is just what the doctor ordered!
