Yet another episode covering keyboard shortcuts for Final Cut Pro. Today I show you all the keyboard shortcuts for playing, creating, deleting and moving in and out points in both the viewer and the timeline.

Show Notes

  • Work with In and out points faster by using keyboard shortcuts.
  • Shortcuts covered in this podcasts include:
    1. i = Set in point.
    2. o = Set out point.
    3. l = Play forward.
    4. SHIFT + i = Go to in point.
    5. SHIFT + o = Go to out point.
    6. OPTION + i = Delete in point.
    7. OPTION + o = Delete out point.
    8. CMD + Z = Undo.
    9. SHIFT + \ = Play in to out points.
    10. X = Sets in and out point the length of the clip the playhead is over.
    11. OPTION + X = Deletes both in and out points.
