Noise Industries today released version 2.0.2 of their Final Cut Pro FX Factory plug-ins. Updates include the following:

  • Added five new plug-ins to FxFactory Pro: the “Cell Phone Browser” transition, which simulates an effect used by the Safari web browser on the iPhone, and the “Color Accent”, “Color Fill”, “Mask From Color” and “Replace Range” color adjustment filters.
  • Added a new high-precision output clamping option to certain plug-ins that render in high-precision in Final Cut Pro. This new parameter lets you control the output range of a given filter in sequences set to render at bit depths higher than 8-bit (such as the ProRes sequence presets added in Final Cut Studio 2).
  • New version (1.1) of the CoreMelt Editing and CoreMelt Motion Packs, with contextual parameter UI and support for high-precision rendering on Mac OS X Leopard.
  • New version of idustrial revolution Volumetrix (1.0.5) which supports high-precision output clamping.
  • Fixed a bug which prevented the “Mix” parameter from working correctly in Motion 3.
  • Improved plug-in licensing scheme to better handle multiple users using FxFactory on the same workstation.
  • The FxFactory uninstaller is now available inside the FxFactory application, as a command under the “Actions” menu.
  • Added new plug-in development features for high-precision output clamping and color space information.
