If you haven’t yet checked out the social network browser Flock, you must do so immediately, especially if you are a social network junkie (or, like me, use social networks for your day to day business development). Head on now (why are you still here?) to Flock.com and download the browser for your platform. This browser was created to make your “social networking” management life easier. Once you log into your social network (e.g. YouTube), it will automatically pull all your friends and place them in the “people” tab. If you have media, it puts all your media in the media tab. You can manage various aspects of the social network directly from the browser itself. The only negative I see so far is that they are limited as to what social networks they integrate with (e.g. there is no integration with MySpace.com…a huge negative). Also, I don’t know how secure this browser is (we all have heard nightmare stories about Internet Explorer, Safari and even Firefox.) It’s a very interesting concept in browsing the different social networks. |
